Sagebrush Harvest Season — Sign up for a foraging date!

September is sagebrush harvesting season—one of my favorite times of year! Wild harvesting botanicals is a lengthy (and beautiful) process from harvest to distillation—read more about it in last month’s Field Notes blog. I always welcome anyone who wishes to get out in nature with me to join a harvest party.

This season, I am planning three Idaho forays: September 11th, 14th and 21st. Each outing will begin at 10am and last approximately 2 hours, with the option to car pool with me or meet at the harvest site, which is within 15 minutes of downtown Boise.

Please follow the link below to fill out a form letting me know which date(s) you would like to join. You will then receive an email with further details on the harvest. For your time, I will gift you a 2oz bottle of sagebrush hydrosol (what’s this?) from the distillation run you helped make possible.

Thank you for joining me in this wild exploration of botanical alchemy!

Bloom,
